DORT Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information the mobile game DORT ("the game", "we") collects, why, how long it is kept and what choices you have. DORT is published by Emre Kişi, an individual developer based in Türkiye, who is the data controller. Contact: support@dortgame.com.
1. Who the game is for
DORT is intended for players aged 13 and over. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
2. Information we collect
If you create an account
- Email address — to sign in, recover access and answer support requests.
- Password — stored only in hashed form by our game server; we cannot read it.
- Username — shown to other players on leaderboards and in online matches.
- Country — chosen by you from a list; shown next to your username on leaderboards.
If you play as a guest
- A random identifier created on your device (not a hardware or advertising identifier), used only to connect guest online matches. Guest progress is not saved on our server.
Game data
- Level progress, scores, best scores, 1v1 rating, charges and in-game items you own.
- Online match data: the moves sent during a match, the result and rating changes, used to run the match and check that results are genuine.
- Your settings (sound, music) are stored on your device; for accounts, they may also be saved with your progress.
Purchases
- When you buy an item, payment is handled entirely by Google Play. We never receive your card details. We receive and store a purchase record (product, purchase token, time and status) to deliver the item, prevent fraud and handle refunds.
Advertising
- The game shows full-screen ads between attempts using Google AdMob. AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and app information and ad interactions to deliver, measure and (where permitted) personalise ads. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
- In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland we ask for your consent before personalised ads using Google's consent tool. You can change your choice at any time from the game's settings.
- You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings (Settings → Google → Ads).
- Players who buy Remove Ads do not see these ads.
Technical logs
- Our server records technical logs (such as IP address, time and error information) to keep the service secure and working. Request addresses and headers are removed from web server logs.
We do not use third-party analytics or crash-reporting services, and we do not sell your personal information.
3. Why we use it (legal bases)
- To provide the game and your account (performance of our contract with you): sign-in, saving progress, online matches, leaderboards, delivering purchases.
- Legitimate interests: security, fraud prevention, fair play and fixing problems.
- Consent: personalised advertising where the law requires consent.
- Legal obligations: tax and accounting records for purchases.
4. Who we share it with
- Other players see your username, country, scores and rating on leaderboards and in matches.
- Service providers acting for us: DigitalOcean (servers in Frankfurt, Germany), Google (Google Play purchases and AdMob advertising).
- Authorities, only when required by law.
5. International transfers
Our game server is located in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). Google may process information in the United States and other countries under its own safeguards. By using the game from Türkiye, you are informed that your data is transferred abroad for these purposes; where the law requires your explicit consent for such a transfer, we ask for it.
6. How long we keep it
- Account and game data: while your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete it within 30 days, except purchase records we must keep for tax and legal reasons.
- Guest match data: only as long as needed to run and check the match.
- Technical logs: up to 30 days, unless needed longer to investigate a security issue.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR/UK GDPR or Türkiye's Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, KVKK), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, to object to or restrict certain uses, to withdraw consent and to complain to your data protection authority. To use these rights, email support@dortgame.com from the address linked to your account. We answer within 30 days.
8. Deleting your account
You can request deletion of your account and its data at any time by emailing support@dortgame.com with the subject "Delete my account" from your account's email address. Full instructions are on our account deletion page.
9. Security
Connections to our server are encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are stored hashed. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
10. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the game.
